Credits and Sources

The content of this Nintendo DS wiki was written originally for this project. It is not copied from any single guide. Instead it distills widely known, community-established knowledge about DS homebrew, emulation, and hardware repair into fresh explanations in our own words.

Inspiration

Like most community documentation, this wiki stands on years of collective effort by hobbyists who reverse-engineered the hardware, wrote the homebrew, and shared their repair experience. We are grateful to the broader DS scene whose accumulated wisdom informs these pages, even though no text here is lifted from those sources.

How Attribution Works Here

Specific projects, tools, and individuals who deserve named credit are recorded in the project's Credits.txt file kept alongside this wiki. Keeping attribution in one maintained file ensures credits stay accurate as the wiki grows.

Accuracy and Corrections

Hardware revisions, flashcart firmware, and homebrew all change over time, so details can drift. Where facts were checked, they reflect well-established community consensus at the time of writing. If you spot an error or an omission in attribution, it should be raised so both the affected page and Credits.txt can be updated.

Scope Reminder

This wiki covers homebrew software, emulation, customization, and hardware repair. It deliberately does not host or endorse copyrighted games. Respecting that boundary keeps the project useful and welcoming for newcomers and longtime tinkerers alike.
