Loading Games
Once your ODE is installed and your SD card is prepared, day-to-day use is straightforward. The exact menu differs between Fenrir, Satiator, and Terraonion MODE, but the routine is similar across all three.
The basic flow
- Insert your prepared SD card into the ODE.
- Power on the console; the board's boot menu appears in place of the usual disc prompt.
- Browse your library and select a title.
- The game loads from the card, typically far faster than the original drive could read a disc.
Switching games
To change titles you generally return to the ODE menu, often by resetting the console, then pick another game. There's no disc to swap, so switching is quick and silent.
Region considerations
Because your library can include imports, make sure each game's region is supported by your configuration. Most ODE setups handle multiple regions cleanly once configured, letting a single console run the worldwide library.
Smooth loading tips
If a game stutters or won't start, suspect the SD card first: reformat with a quality card and re-copy the image. Keep a backup of your library so you can rebuild a card quickly if one fails.
With everything configured, you'll enjoy near-instant access to your collection and none of the noise or wear of the original mechanism.
