The EverDrive-GB X7 is the flagship flashcart for the Game Boy family. It loads ROM files from a microSD card, plays them from a clean menu, and adds features the original carts never had, including a battery-backed RTC real-time clock for games that track time of day.

No tools required
Like any flashcart, the X7 is plug and play. Format the SD card, copy your games, insert the cart, and power on. There is no soldering and nothing to open.
Getting started
Prepare a microSD card as described on the SD card preparation page, place your legally owned ROM backups in the appropriate folder, and insert the card into the cart. On first boot the menu scans your files and lists them for selection.
If you want the most capable, set-and-forget flashcart with timekeeping and convenience features, the X7 is the natural choice. Builders on a tighter budget may prefer the EZ-Flash Junior instead.
