Play your whole library from one cart
An SD flashcart such as the Mega EverDrive Pro or the Mega SD lets you load any game in your collection from a single cartridge. Both can also emulate Sega CD discs directly from the SD card, removing the need for a fragile add-on and original media.
Sharpen the picture
Stock units output composite or RF by default, which looks soft. Adding an RGB cable gives a dramatically cleaner image. Model 1 consoles are widely considered the best RGB source.
Run imports and switch refresh rate
A switchless region mod using firmware like MegaDrivePlusPlus lets you toggle between regions and 50/60 Hz without flipping internal jumpers, often via a controller button combo.
