Booting Swiss

Make sure your SD card is correctly formatted and holds a working copy of Swiss before you try to boot. A missing or corrupt Swiss build is the most common reason a launch fails.

Booting Swiss

How Swiss starts depends on the entry point you installed. The end result is identical, but the trigger differs.

  1. Insert your card
Place the prepared microSD card into your adapter, whether that is an SD2SP2, an SD Gecko, or an ODE. Confirm the console is plugged in and the card is fully seated.
  2. Trigger the entry point
With PicoBoot or an ODE, simply power on and Swiss loads itself. With a boot disc, insert the disc first. With the save exploit, start the vulnerable game and load the crafted save.
  3. Reach Swiss
Within a moment the Swiss interface appears, showing a file browser and menus. This confirms your entry point is working.
  4. Confirm storage
Use Swiss to select your device and verify it can see your homebrew and game files. If the list is empty, recheck the card format and folder layout.

Once Swiss is on screen you are ready to explore its menus and load games.
