Installing PicoBoot
PicoBoot requires soldering directly to the motherboard. Wrong pads or cold joints can permanently damage your console. Unplug it first, take your time, and double-check every connection before powering on.
Installing PicoBoot
PicoBoot turns a cheap Raspberry Pi Pico into a modchip that auto-boots Swiss. The job has two parts: flashing the Pico, then wiring it into the console with roughly five wires.
- Flash the PicoHold the Pico's BOOTSEL button while plugging it into USB. It mounts as a drive; copy the PicoBoot firmware file onto it. The Pico reboots itself once flashing finishes.
- Open the consoleDisassemble the GameCube to expose the motherboard. Identify the solder points listed for your board revision.
- Solder the wiresSolder the small set of wires from the Pico to the designated pads. Keep joints clean and make sure nothing bridges to neighboring points.
- TestBefore fully reassembling, power on with a prepared SD card inserted. Swiss should launch automatically. If it does, close up the console.
From now on, every power-on drops you straight into Swiss with no disc or save needed.
