Loading games

Only load backups of games you legally own. Dumping your own discs is the intended workflow; sourcing images elsewhere may be unlawful where you live.

Loading games

Swiss loads full GameCube game images straight from your storage. With a little preparation the process is quick and reliable.

  1. Prepare images
Place your game images on the SD card. Compressed RVZ and NKit formats shrink files a lot and load fine in Swiss, so they are a great way to fit more games.
  2. Select a game
Boot Swiss, choose your storage device, and browse to the game you want. Highlight it to view its details.
  3. Set load options
Check video and patch settings before launching. For some games, enabling the right options improves compatibility, especially when running from SD rather than disc.
  4. Launch
Confirm to boot the game. Swiss hands off to it and play begins as normal. To return, reboot back into your entry point.

If a game misbehaves

Most titles run well, but a few are picky. If a game stutters or fails to boot, revisit the load options in Swiss, try a different image format, or confirm your card is fast enough.
