Post-Install Checklist
With CFW or PS3HEN in place, a short checklist confirms the system is healthy and ready for daily use. This applies to both paths, with the HEN-specific reminders noted where relevant.
- Confirm firmware stateRe-check system information to verify the CFW identifier, or the HFW version with HEN reported active.
- Install a managerAdd a homebrew manager such as webMAN MOD, multiMAN, or IRISMAN to organize and launch your legal content.
- Verify stabilityOpen and close a few menus and the manager to confirm the system stays responsive and does not freeze.
- Note the HEN routineOn the HEN path, remind yourself that the enabler must be re-run after every cold boot.
Housekeeping
Keep your FAT32 USB drive handy with your install packages on it. Having the files ready makes future updates and recovery far simpler.
